Before the 2026 season commences, we want to stroll down memory lane and relive the moments that made the 2025 season one for the history books.

After 19 hotly contested events, 17 different winners crowned, and seven worthy LETAS graduates announced, 2025 is without doubt the strongest year LETAS has ever seen.

One of the highlights of the year was Emma Falcher’s breakthrough win at the highly anticipated Rose Ladies Open in September.

Let’s go straight to the point, here are 3 putting fundamentals I’d always check if I were starting again :

——

1️⃣ Clubface at impact
The face controls the ball’s direction. To start it straight, your clubface must be square, and your stroke path neutral with a slight natural arc.

🎯 Drill: Place a stick (or club) on the ground and two tees just wider than your putter head. Roll the ball through the “gate” without touching the tees feel the arc, but keep the face square through impact.

2️⃣ Eye position
Your eyes should be over or just inside the ball too far off and your perception changes, affecting your line.

🎯 Drill: Drop a ball from your lead eye. If it hits the ball on the ground, you’re perfectly aligned. If not, adjust your posture or distance.

3️⃣ Tempo & length
A smooth, consistent rhythm is key to distance control.

🎯 Drill: Think “1 for the backswing, 2 for the follow-through.” Keep the same tempo and try to roll 3 balls that stop the same distance.

Putting is built on stability, rhythm & confidence master these, and your stroke will instantly look (and feel) more solid. ⛳️

Voici les 3 erreurs 👇🏼

❌ Frapper balle après balle sans routine
— Cela donne l’impression de travailler, mais sans objectif précis on ne fait que répéter ses défauts.
✔️ Instaure une routine simple (respiration, visualisation, choix de cible) avant chaque coup pour créer un vrai transfert sur le parcours.

❌ Toujours commencer par le driver
— Le driver est le club le plus exigeant ; mal l’utiliser en début de séance peut miner la confiance.
✔️ Démarre plutôt avec du wedging pour trouver ton rythme et installer ta régularité.

❌ Négliger son alignement
